From my first volunteer experience taking care of marine fishes and invertebrates at Texas A&M Galveston's Sea Life Facility to completing my MS thesis in Fisheries Science at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, I have continued to grow my skills in experimental design, data management, and collaboration with each new research experience. I've come to specialize in fisheries sampling techniques, laboratory experiments with live fishes, fish physiology, ecotoxicology, and invasive species ecology and management. Check out the photos below to learn more about each research experience.
